I too have tried some things and quit. We don*t accomplish anything in the areas we quit. Worst of all, I know Christians that tried serving the Lord and quit. Our job isn*t finished until our last breath. John 17:4: I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.John 19:30: When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. 2 Timothy 4:7: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
I am so glad that Jesus finished His work for you and me. And I am glad that the Apostle Paul finished his course. He proved that men of faith CAN finish the course that God has for them. Am I finishing the course He has for me? Are you finishing the course He has for you? |
